About Clea Young

Clea Young’s stories have been included in Best Canadian Stories 2025 and three volumes of The Journey Prize Stories. Her work has appeared in EventGrainThe FiddleheadThe Malahat ReviewThe New Quarterly, Prairie Fire and Room. Her first collection of stories, Teardown, was published in October 2016 with Freehand Books.

Her second collection, Welcome to the Neighbourhood, is forthcoming from House of Anansi Press on May 6 2025. Clea completed an MFA at the University of British Columbia. 
She lives in Squamish, BC.
